The GCC markets closed on a mixed note, with Dubai being the worst performer. The Saudi market ended up 0.5% paced by the positive returns registered in Sabic, Al Rajhi Bank and Safco which gained 1.6%, 0.9% and 2.9% respectively. Kuwaiti index ended higher by 0.1% amid support from National Industries Group(+3.5%) and Agility(1.8%).

The Qatari bourse dropped 0.3%, dragged down by Industries Qatar, Qatar National Bank and Qatar Telecom which fell by 1%, 0.1% and 0.1% respectively. The property stocks contined to put pressure on UAE bourses. In Dubai, Union properties and Emaar dropped 5.9% and 0.7% pulling the index downwards by 1.2%. Abu Dhabi bourse fell 0.4% hampered by losses recorded in Sorouh and Al Dar Properties which plunged 1.1% and 2.4% respectively. The Bahraini bourse continued to drop for the fourth consecutive day, and ended down by 0.3%. Ahli United Bank, Al Salam Bank and Gulf Finance house ended down by 1.7%, 4.7% and 0.6% respectively. The Omani market furthered it gains rising 0.5% driven by the healthy performance of Bank Musat and Renaissance which gained 3.3% and 2.1% respectively.
